‘ A boy’s dream’

Siep Anema, owner of Anema Arum was in Canada 33 years ago for work activities.
Fascinated by the original trucks that he saw driving around he came back to ‘t Heitelân and knew for sure, one day a true American truck would be used in Friesland to transport the machines.

In 2000, Siep’s dream came true. Siep travelled to Canada and bought a used Freightliner.
The Freightliner is a mobile advertising vehicle that attracted attention and publicity far beyond Friesland.

Ten years later the Freightliner was enhanced with the arrival of a new Peterbilt truck.
This truck was one of the first trucks that came with a Euro 5 standard, which is now a requirement in Europe.
This means that the truck can be used all over the Netherlands to load and unload big machines by our regular drivers.

This truck is favoured among the drivers with disabilities during the annual Truck tour.
