New ETEC for Koper, Wervershoof!

The ETEC 816-II with special boom configuration has been delivered at J. Copper & Zn BV. The Wevershoof company J. Kooper & Zn. BV focuses on the adoption and implementation of dredging and land-facings. These activities are often conducted in North-Holland, as main contractor or subcontractor. The company was founded 55 years ago by mr. J. Copper and now led by the sons K. Copper and D. Copper. The company has grown to 44 employees over the years. The earthworks include digging trenches, building and preparing land for residential and commercial construction. All the dredging is carried out with own equipment. Much of this equipment is designed specifically for small and hard-to-reach projects. These projects, in poorly accessible locations, have become a company speciality. This is the main reason why they invested in a new track excavator, the 816-II ETEC. This 16 ton weighing machine is equipped with a 18 ton tracked undercarriage and state boards of 90cm. The three-piece boom was specially adapted for special applications by distributor Van Vliet. ETEC has been fitted with a demolition and sorting functionality, as wel as a bucket cylinder switch. It also has a steel toolbox fitted onto the undercarriage. The spacious, ergonomic cabin with climatronic has been busy prepared with overpressure technology, including TAC signaling, necessary for dredging.
